porter harrast Very relaxing yet technically impressive classical guitar and a voice both girlish and masterfully soulful. Harmonies are beautiful and unique. Most pop-like of her albums. Huge Fan. Favorite track: Jorgonian of the Midnight Sun.

Dr. Beaf Get me two Arecaceaes, a woven hammock, a Samoan shoreline sipping a refreshing Otai served chilled in a coconut shell adorn by a cocktail parasol with Hannah Coates (happy to share my beverage, but she'd probably want her own) to kindly thank her for this find. Everyone else is welcome too, just don't eff it up. Sweet sounds built on jazzy down beat [tropical] chill tarnished with a slight grudge - a brilliant contrast. Highly recommend. Favorite track: Infinite & Tenderlovin'.

Cooper C. Roark Parce que, "Les lois des nos desirs sont des sans loisir."

The whole album is a sumptuous feast of melody and imagination... In particular, I adore the balance in Evidemment between the minor key verses/ upbeat chorus. Great album to practice playing along with... Favorite track: Évidemment.

Hannah Coates Melancholy tropical sounds. Suitable for desert islands and urban jungles. Favorite track: Basta.

Ben Lewis Don't fuck up my island. I just ran across this by accident, and that's why bandcamp is the shit. This album is fantastic. Favorite track: Pyramids.

Derek Pretti Paradise Island Tropical Vacation blew my mind the first time I heard it. Adron has such a sweet and wonderful voice, but she has a big chip on her shoulder. Great album overall. Favorite track: Paradise Island Tropical Vacation.

about

Adron Atlanta, Georgia

Adron is a young Atlanta singer and songwriter, seamlessly blending classical harmony with the playfulness of '60s Tropicalia, the earnestness and sentiment of '70s songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Harry Nilsson, and the cerebral sincerity of the hymn. She has an international texture, youthful exuberance, and a remarkably vintage, yet highly original modern sound. ... more
